Michael Chan

Michael Chan has more than 35 years of global business development, marketing, product management and operations experience in the digital health and med-tech arenas. Mr. Chan’s career spans three waves of healthcare transformation commencing from start-up stage to market disruption in telehealth, robotic surgery, and minimally invasive surgery.

Mr. Chan was a co-founder and EVP at InTouch Health and held senior management positions leading up to its $1.1B acquisition by Teladoc Health (NYSE: TDOC). Mr. Chan was General Manager and Vice President, International at Teladoc overseeing the Hospitals and Health Systems business. He also held various leadership positions at Computer Motion (1997 Nasdaq IPO) which merged with Intuitive Surgical to forge the multi-billion-dollar surgical robotics industry.  

Mr. Chan serves on the board of trustees for Facing The World, a UK-based charity aimed at upskilling doctors in complex craniofacial surgery in underserved global regions. Mr. Chan is a named inventor in 19 US patents. He received a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
